However, we understand that sometimes a course or a tool might not be the right fit for your specific needs, or your circumstances may change. This Refund Policy outlines the clear, fair, and transparent rules regarding refunds, cancellations, and exchanges for all products and services purchased through our platform.
By making a purchase on Sajjad Ali Academy, you explicitly agree to the terms laid out in this Refund Policy. We strongly advise all students and professionals to read this document carefully before completing any transaction on our site.
2. Course Purchases (One-Time Payments)
For standalone software engineering and AI courses purchased via a one-time payment, we offer a straightforward money-back guarantee, subject to the following conditions:
2.1 The 14-Day Guarantee
You may request a full refund within exactly fourteen (14) days from the date and time of your initial purchase. This period is designed to give you ample time to evaluate the course curriculum, teaching style, and overall quality to ensure it meets your expectations.
2.2 Consumption Limits
To protect our intellectual property and prevent abuse of the refund system, the 14-day guarantee is conditional upon your course consumption. A refund will NOT be granted if you have:
- Completed or viewed more than 20% of the total course video content.
- Downloaded significant portions of the supplementary materials (e.g., source code repositories, PDF guides, proprietary datasets).
- Submitted a final project or requested a certificate of completion.
Our learning management system automatically tracks video consumption and file downloads. This data will be used to determine your eligibility for a refund under this clause.
2.3 Exceptional Circumstances
If you have exceeded the 20% consumption limit but encountered severe, documented technical issues on our end that completely prevented you from taking the course, we may, at our sole discretion, offer a refund or an exchange for another course of equal value. Such cases must be accompanied by detailed communication with our technical support team demonstrating the platform's failure.
3. Subscription Memberships and AI Tools
Sajjad Ali Academy offers subscription-based access to premium AI tools, community features, and ongoing learning paths. The refund policies for subscriptions differ from one-time course purchases due to the ongoing nature of the service and server costs.
3.1 Monthly Subscriptions
Monthly subscriptions are generally non-refundable. When you subscribe on a monthly basis, you are paying for access during that specific 30-day billing cycle. You may cancel your subscription at any time to prevent future billing, but we do not provide prorated refunds for partial months of usage. Your access will remain active until the end of your current paid billing cycle.
3.2 Annual Subscriptions
For annual subscriptions, we offer a limited 7-day refund window from the date of the initial annual charge. If you decide the annual plan is not for you within the first 7 days, you may request a refund. However, if you have heavily utilized the AI tools (exceeding 10% of the annual usage quota) during those 7 days, we reserve the right to deduct a prorated amount equivalent to one month's subscription fee from your refund.
3.3 Auto-Renewal Cancellations
It is your responsibility to manage your subscription. We provide clear mechanisms in your account dashboard to cancel auto-renewal. Forgetting to cancel before the renewal date is not a valid ground for a refund of the renewed cycle. We highly recommend setting personal reminders if you do not wish to continue your subscription.
4. Digital Downloads and Assets
Certain products on Sajjad Ali Academy may be offered as direct digital downloads (e.g., standalone code boilerplates, UI kits, design templates). Due to the nature of digital goods, these purchases are strictly non-refundable once the download link has been accessed or the file has been downloaded.
If you experience technical issues with a downloaded file (e.g., file corruption, incompatibility not mentioned in the product description), please contact support. We will work with you to provide a working file or resolve the technical issue. Refunds for digital downloads will only be considered if the file is fundamentally defective and our support team cannot provide a working version within a reasonable timeframe.
5. How to Request a Refund
To initiate a refund request, you must follow our official procedure. Requests made via social media, public comments, or unofficial channels will not be processed.
- Ensure you meet all the eligibility criteria outlined in sections 2, 3, or 4 of this policy.
- Log in to your Sajjad Ali Academy account and navigate to your Purchase History or Billing section.
- Locate the specific order you wish to refund.
- Contact our support team via the designated Contact form or email, clearly stating your Order ID, the email address associated with your account, and a detailed reason for the refund request.
Providing constructive feedback in your refund reason helps us improve our educational offerings and tools for future students.
6. Processing Time and Method
Once we receive your formal refund request, our support team will review it against our consumption logs and policy criteria. This review process typically takes 1 to 3 business days.
If your refund is approved, it will be processed immediately on our end. The funds will be returned to the original payment method used for the purchase. We cannot issue refunds to alternative cards, different bank accounts, or via alternative payment methods (e.g., crypto, wire transfer) to prevent fraud and comply with anti-money laundering regulations.
Please note that while we process the refund immediately upon approval, it may take your bank or credit card company an additional 5 to 10 business days to post the funds to your account. This processing time is entirely out of our control.
7. Abuse of the Refund Policy
Our generous refund policy is designed to lower the barrier to entry for learning and protect genuine students. However, we strictly monitor for abuse of this system. Abuse includes, but is not limited to:
- Repeatedly purchasing and refunding multiple courses.
- Speed-running or scraping course content and then requesting a refund.
- Creating multiple accounts to bypass refund limits.
If we determine, in our sole and absolute discretion, that you are abusing the refund policy, we reserve the right to deny your refund request, ban your account, and restrict you from all future use of Sajjad Ali Academy services.
8. Policy Modifications
Sajjad Ali Academy reserves the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting to the website. The policy active at the exact time of your purchase will govern your refund eligibility for that specific transaction.
